Conference on Sri Lanka - Japan Collaborative Research (SLJCR)

Again it’s Gouri and sorry for delayed update.

 I have participated for the Conference on Sri Lanka - Japan Collaborative Research (SLJCR) on 23rd September 2017. The conference is an annual event organized by Sri Lanka-Japan Study Center in collaboration with embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka to allow scientists to exchange the latest advances in their fields of study and provides an environment that fosters and share new collaborations and research ideas.

The chief guest was H.E. Deputy Ambassador of Japan in Sri Lanka. The former Ambassador of Japan in Sri Lanka, Prof. Nobuhito HOBO also participated for the event.

 The co-chairs were Prof. Masaru ISHIZUKA from Toyama Prefectural University, Japan and Dr. Shameen Jinadasa from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.

Many distinguished guests participated to the conference from both Sri Lanka and Japan. There were many oral and poster presentations from students as well as from professors.
